Velocity Meter transforms the best thinking from top podcasts into executive-level intelligence briefs. We process hours of audio so you don't have to—delivering the insights that matter, with the context you need, in the time you actually have.
The Origin Story
I didn't set out to build a media channel. I set out to learn.
When AI started moving fast, I knew I couldn't just read about it. I had to get my hands dirty. So I started teaching myself—building automations, experimenting with workflows, figuring out what was real and what was hype by actually doing the work.
The more I built, the more I realized I should point this at something useful. Something that would give me real time back.
Velocity Meter was born from a desperate need to reclaim my calendar. I built an application that ingests full podcast transcripts, extracts the signal from the noise, and delivers intelligence briefs that respect both my time and my intelligence.
It worked so well that I started sharing it with my network. The response was immediate: How do I get this?
So here we are.
What's Next
If this takes off, I'll keep building the system. The vision is to let users create their own custom digests—your podcasts, your topics, your briefings.
Velocity Meter as a platform, not just a newsletter.
An AI-powered content curation and qualitative insights publishing engine.
A Note on Velocity Road
I am the founding partner and executive chairman of Velocity Road, where we work with PE-backed middle-market businesses on implementing AI growth and transformation strategies. Velocity Road subsidizes the tools and the tokens of this platform, the opinions, editorial voice, and vision of Velocity Meter—that's all me.
Your subscriptions don't go to Velocity Road. They go to helping me keep this platform up-and-running, help me cover a few extra expenses, and provide a portion to the Sustainable Media Center which helps protect young adults and children from toxic online content.
I Want to Hear From You
This is a living product. I'm building it in public, and I want your input.
Have a podcast I should add to the rotation? An idea for a new digest or vertical? Feedback on what's working and what isn't? I'm genuinely interested.
